Edith RENAULT

Autonomy aircraft safety manager

Edith RENAULT is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in aircraft safety management and engineering. Currently serving as the Autonomy Aircraft Safety Manager at Airbus since June 2020, Edith oversees safety activities related to autonomy and single pilot operations within the aircraft safety department. Prior experience includes a tenure at APSYS - Airbus from January 2004 to December 2011, where responsibilities spanned project management of system safety activities for the A400M development, leading a team of approximately 10 engineers, and conducting detailed safety analyses for various aircraft systems. Edith holds an Engineer's degree in Aerospace from the Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace and a Master's degree in New Technologies Management from ESC TOULOUSE. Additionally, Edith is an active member of the SAE 18 working group, contributing to safety standards in aircraft development.
