Florent Querol is currently the Directeur des Relations Institutionnelles at Airbus, with a strong background in engineering and project leadership. They began their career as a test engineer for the Tiger weapon system at Airbus Helicopters from 2000 to 2002, followed by a role as a test engineer for the A380 at Airbus France S.A.S. from 2003 to 2006. Between 2013 and 2015, they served as executive assistant to the SVP of quality at Airbus Group. Florent also took on various project leadership roles on A320 ramp-up and A350 quality working parties, and has been involved in customer services business development. They are currently pursuing aerospace engineering at Université Laval and attending the Ecole nationale d'Administration, after completing the Cycle des Hautes Études pour le Développement Économique in 2023.
