Marcel Mateescu

Marcel Mateescu has extensive experience in software engineering and data science, beginning as a software engineer at SMARTSYS and NTT DATA Europe & Latam, where skills in Delphi, Oracle, NATURAL, ADABAS, SQL Server, C#, and VB. NET were developed. As a freelance consultant and senior software engineer, Marcel led web application teams and served as a project leader and senior consultant at msg. Significant roles include Data Science Manager and AI Product Manager for Airbus, co-founder and CTO of Serenn, and founder and CTO of Ephod, focusing on innovative AI solutions for jewelry insurance. Marcel currently serves as the Interim Chief Technology Officer for SOS-CTO. With a strong educational background, including a PhD in applied statistics from IUT Nice Côte d'Azur, Marcel also holds certifications in project management and product management.
