Simon Labonté

Simon Labonté is currently the Head of Design for Fuselage and Doors at Airbus, where they lead a larger group of integrators and designers on the A220. Previously, they served as a Structural Integrator at Airbus from 2019 to 2022, and as the Head of Fuselage Design Continuous Support, managing design engineers on the A220 program. Simon has extensive experience as a mechanical designer consultant across several major aerospace projects, including the Global 7000/8000 and C Series Cockpit at Bombardier Aerospace. They also have a teaching background at École Nationale d'Aérotechnique and earned a Certificate in Air Transportation from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi between 2018 and 2021.
