Wayne Locke

Wayne Locke is a Senior F&DT Engineer at Airbus, specializing in fatigue, crack propagation, and damage tolerance analyses for over 30 years. Previously, Wayne held positions at Contraves Space AG as a Senior Development Engineer and at MT Aerospace AG as an F&DT Consultant, contributing to significant projects like the Ariane 5 launcher and the ATV. Wayne also served as a Senior Stress Engineer at Aerostructures Hamble Limited, performing structural integrity checks and establishing ISO 9001 compliant documentation. Wayne completed a Ph.D. in Short Fatigue Crack Growth at Notch Plastic Zones from the University of Portsmouth and holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Portsmouth Polytechnic.
