Axel Amar

Axel Amar currently serves as VP of Finance at Airbyte, a leading open-source data movement platform, since July 2025. Prior to this role, Axel accumulated extensive experience at Turo from January 2014 to June 2025, progressing through various positions including Vice President and Senior Director of FP&A, where oversight included P&L forecasting across multiple geographies with a significant focus on budget planning and strategic presentations to the Board of Directors. Axel's earlier roles included Director of FP&A - Revenue, where a focus on revenue forecasting and financial model redesign was achieved, and Senior Manager of Growth Marketing, during which initiatives in paid acquisition were managed. Axel began their career at Booster Fuels, managing growth strategies and engineering projects aimed at user acquisition. Axel holds a Master in Management from ESCP Business School and completed preparatory classes in Mathematics, Geopolitics, and Philosophy at Sainte Marie.
