Olia Gu

Olia Gu is the current Accounting Manager at airCFO. Prior to their current position, they served as a Strategy and Business Development Intern at The MetroHealth System from June 2015 to August 2015, where they defined target customers, evaluated market opportunities and projected financial results in order to make a final recommendation on a team-based training expansion that required a $250,000/year investment. Additionally, Olia co-developed financial models, conducted thorough research on 8 innovative membership-based primary care business models and mapped out competitive landscape in order to identify opportunities in the local market, which led to developing the basis of a series of initial product offerings.

Before their time at The MetroHealth System, Olia was a Summer Associate in Financial and Budgeting at Greatwall Drilling Company from June 2014 to July 2014.

Olia Gu is a highly driven and motivated individual with a passion for numbers and financial analysis. Olia has demonstrated their ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions to complex problems. Olia is an excellent communicator and team player who always puts the needs of their team first. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic are just a few of the qualities that make their an asset to any organization.

Olia Gu has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Olia Gu reports to Alex Wittenberg, Chief Operations Officer. They work with Madalina Jalbu - Senior Accountant, Jon Kokkinos - Senior Accountant, and Jason Khan - Financial Advisory Manager.
