Tom Gant has a long history of work experience. Tom began their career in 2007 as an English Teacher for Depauw taalstages. In 2008, they took on the role of Amanuensis for the University of Hull. In 2009, they moved to York English where they worked as a Senior Teacher/Teacher. In 2011, they were promoted to Educational Consultant and Education Director at York English. In 2020, they took on the role of Operations Coordinator & Client Success at Coaching No Code Apps. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Customer Success Manager at Airdev.

Tom Gant received a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Hull in 2007. Tom then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Creative Writing from the same university, which they completed in 2008.
