Ioannis Takkides

Ioannis Takkides has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2014, they served as a Sergeant in the Cypriot army and also volunteered at the Council of Europe, participating in a conference on hate crimes based on speech. In 2017, Ioannis worked as a Camp Leader, responsible for coordinating activities and ensuring children's safety. Ioannis gained retail experience in 2018 while working at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events. That same year, they completed a production horticulture work placement at Walberton Nursery, where they focused on growing ornamental plants and gained laboratory experience. In 2019, Ioannis volunteered at Fashion Revolution, organizing clothes exchange events to promote sustainability in the fashion industry. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Despatch Assistant at Juno Records, and in 2022, they joined Circular1 Health as a Laboratory Technician, performing various tasks related to Covid-19 sample processing. Currently, Ioannis is working as a Data Entry Specialist at Airfinity Ltd.

Ioannis Takkides completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Sussex between 2016 and 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Cancer from Queen Mary University of London, which they completed between 2020 and 2021.
