Tom Stringer

Tom Stringer is an experienced leader in the industrial gas and clean energy sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Primary Production & Projects at Airgas since April 2014. Stringer oversees the operations of Airgas' industrial gas production facilities and manages major plant projects. Prior to this role, Stringer held various leadership positions within Airgas, including President of Merchant Gases Operations and President of Airgas Merchant Gases, LLC. Stringer's previous experience includes a tenure at Alstom Power as Director of R&D for Environmental Control & CO2 Capture Systems, where responsibilities encompassed the development of carbon capture technologies and overseeing pilot plants globally. Additionally, Stringer has worked at TR Solutions, the Linde/BOC Group, and BOC Group, accumulating expertise in product development, technical solutions, and operational management. Stringer holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
