Michael Gabassi

Michael Gabassi serves as the COO of Airpelago since September 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from prior roles including R&D Manager and Engineering Team Lead at Husqvarna Construction Products from May 2021 to September 2023. Prior to Husqvarna, Michael was a Management Consultant at Triathlon Group from 2017 to May 2021 and founded the Lund Innovation Challenge in 2017, which has evolved into an annual event at Lund University with support from Bisnode, Vinnova, and VentureLab. Earlier experience includes a Finance Assistant position at Qlik in 2016 and a Teaching Assistant role at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University between September 2015 and March 2016. Michael holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lund University and has additional qualifications from the University of California, Berkeley, and Scandinavian Aviation Academy, specializing in aviation.
