David A. Harper

David A. Harper has a diverse work experience in the field of Cyber Risk & Information Security. David A. has currently been working as the Director of Cyber Risk & Information Security (CISO) at AirPlus International since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Leading Expert in IT Risk & Information Security (CISO) at the same company from 2017 to March 2023. Before joining AirPlus International, they worked as a Manager in Cyber Risk Services at Deloitte from 2016 to 2017. David also served as an Information Security Officer at InterComponentWare AG from 2006 to 2016. David A. started their career as a Dozent at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in 1998 and held that position until 2014.

David A. Harper obtained a Dipl.-Math. degree in Mathematik mit Schwerpunkt Informatik (MSI) from Technische Universität Darmstadt between 1989 and 1995. David A. then pursued their education at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where they received a Dipl.-Kfm. degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Finanzwirtschaft from 1996 to 2001.
