Since September 2023, the Airport City Developers Network has been discussing real estate issues at airports, primarily in the context of the airport city concept.
From January 2026 onwards, we have organised ourselves and our activities as an association based at Vienna International Airport in Austria.
Our aim is to build a network of experts and individuals who will become Airport City Developers, so we focus on sharing experience, analysing challenges, and fostering mutual understanding of success in this field. We also aim to discuss with service providers, investors and technology innovators how airport cities can attract all these stakeholders — including airports themselves, of course — and the potential role of airports as business locations in the future.

The idea for the association emerged in 2023 from a group of founding partners (functions in parentheses for the ACDN association):
