Alexander Sorokin

Alexander Sorokin is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Lead Architect at Airtable since July 2014, focusing on simplifying app development through user-friendly database interfaces. Prior to this role, Alexander held various positions at CrowdFlower from June 2010 to July 2014, including Director of Data Science, where leadership in a team of data scientists aimed to enhance online work quality. Alexander's earlier career includes multiple roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2004 to 2010, culminating in a PhD in Computer Science, as well as internships at Willow Garage and MERL. Alexander also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Lomonosov Moscow State University, earned between 1998 and 2003.
