Shailey Kadakia

Shailey Kadakia is the Head of Compliance & Privacy at Airtable. Shailey has over five years of experience in compliance and security, with a focus on third party supplier risk management.

Shailey started their career at Box in August 2015 as a Sr. Compliance Manager, Risk & Assurance. In this role, they led a team to build and manage the third party supplier risk program, incorporating compliance, security, and privacy requirements based on compliance certifications, security requirements, and new laws and regulations such as GDPR. Shailey also collaborated with various security teams to streamline requirements and assess third party risk.

In April 2020, Shailey left Box to join Airtable as their Head of Compliance & Privacy. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all compliance and privacy matters for the company.

Shailey has a deep understanding of compliance and security requirements, and has proven experience in managing third party supplier risk. Shailey is a trusted advisor to their team and customers, and is committed to helping their organization protect its data and meet its compliance obligations.

Shailey Kadakia has a Masters of Science in Information Systems from Santa Clara University, a B.A. in Economics from UC San Diego, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from UC San Diego. Shailey also has certification from (ISC)² in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and from ISACA in Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

They are on a team with Johanna Jackman - Chief People Officer, Sohil Patel - Business Intelligence, and Matt Steinfeld - Head of Global Communications. Their manager is Howie Liu, Co-Founder & CEO.
