Jon Bowland

Jon Bowland is a highly experienced former RAF pilot and the current Atmospheric Research Aircraft Captain at Airtask Group, where they lead cutting-edge atmospheric research campaigns. With a diverse background in senior management roles within commercial aviation and the RAF, Jon has demonstrated exceptional operational leadership and a commitment to safety and customer focus. They have over 2700 flying hours, a strong record of flight safety, and have significantly contributed to the British Antarctic Survey's aviation efforts from 2012 to 2022. Jon's educational background includes a BSc in Geology from the University of Nottingham.
