James Nau

James Nau has had extensive work experience in the design industry. James started their career as a Motion Graphics Designer at the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales in 2008. James then held various roles at companies such as Pie Full of Blackbirds and Sixty40, where they worked as a Junior Motion Graphics Designer, Editor, and Compositor. In 2009, they worked as a Videographer, Editor, and Motion Graphics Designer at Bantam Sheep. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at The Monkey's Cobbler as a Senior Designer, Editor, and later as an Art Director. James then joined Seven West Media as a Lead Designer from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they joined Airtasker as a Senior Brand Designer and later worked as a Team Lead for Brand & Design Operations. In 2019, they were promoted to Head of Design and eventually became the VP of Design in 2019. James also has coaching and mentoring experience, working as a Coach for Startmate in 2020 and 2021 and as a Mentor for adplist.org in 2021. Overall, James Nau has a diverse range of experience and expertise in the design industry.

James Nau obtained a Bachelor of Digital Media degree in Animation, Design, Film, and Sound from UNSW between the years 2006 and 2008. Additionally, in February 2023, they obtained certifications in "100 Mentorship Sessions" and "3000 Mentorship Minutes" from adplist.org.
