Bill Chan

Bill Chan has extensive experience in corporate law and finance, beginning as a trainee solicitor at Linklaters, where training involved cross-border M&As, joint venture formation, private equity investments, IPOs, and structured financing. Following this, Bill served as an associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP and later at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, providing corporate finance advisory and legal counsel for significant corporate transactions. Presently, Bill holds the position of Associate Director at Airwallex, overseeing global functions including M&A and fundraising, while also serving as Sole Fund Counsel at Capital 49, focusing on venture capital investments and fund operations. Additionally, experience includes temporary roles providing legal counsel and guidance on IT and digital transformation projects at Dairy Farm Group and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Bill holds dual degrees in Law and Business Administration from The University of Hong Kong.
