James Attard

James Attard is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electronics and system integration. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at AIS Technology since May 2022, James oversees engineering projects and manages a system integration team. Prior experience includes roles as a Research and Development Engineer at Abertax Kemtronics Ltd., where James designed and tested battery management systems for lithium batteries, and as a Development Engineer at SENS Innovation. James contributed to wireless crane control products as an Electronics Design Engineer at Hetronic, Inc., and as a Research Support Officer at the University of Malta, worked on the SPEECHIE project, focusing on electronics and software development. With a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malta, James has a solid foundation in research and product development from various engineering roles and internships.
