Chris Miller

Chris serves as Senior Vice President, Business Development. In this role, Chris's primary responsibility is working closely with AIS' Business Development professionals to ensure a robust and accurate pipeline of new opportunities. Chris leads the Bids and Proposals team and works to integrate Marketing and Partnership Management, building a cohesive message which showcases AIS' value add to our prospects. Chris has been with AIS for over ten years. He started as a Technical Project Manager at the US Treasury and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Chris has also led our Federal Civilian teams, running accounts with the Department of Justice, Department of Transportation, Department of Energy, VA, and Treasury. Prior to his current role, he served as Director Bids and Capture.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Social Science from Radford University and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University. He is a certified PMP and certified by APMP®, the association of record for proposal management, bid, capture, business development, and graphics professionals. Outside of AIS, Chris enjoys fishing, spending time outdoors, playing the banjo, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
