Letitia currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA), the leading nonpartisan, nonprofit trade association for driving public-private partnerships to advance intelligence and national security priorities. She served as a civilian in the U.S. Navy and the Intelligence Community between 1978 and 2014, serving as the first CIO for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as well as the first female Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence for the Navy, retiring as the fifth Director the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. After 36 years in public service, Letitia retired from the U.S. Government. She has since served on the Board of Directors for Raytheon (merged with United Technologies), Sonatype (backed by elite Silicon Valley VC firms and Goldman Sachs before being acquired by Vista Equity), Parsons, the Virginia Tech School of Public and International Affairs, and the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation. She is the recipient of numerous awards to include the Presidential Rank Award of Distinguished Executive, two DoD Medals for Distinguished Service, and three National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medals. Letitia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of America.
