Barry Schneider

Barry Schneider is the President and COO of Steel Dynamics, Inc., a position they have held since 2023. With prior roles at Steel Dynamics, including Senior Vice President of the Flat Roll Steel Group, Barry has extensive experience in various engineering and management capacities. They have also served as an Executive Board Member for the Association for Iron & Steel Technology since 2016 and contributed to local economic development and manufacturing boards. Barry holds an Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations and Value Chain Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
