Khalid Muhammad

Khalid Muhammad has over 20 years of experience in various engineering and program management roles. Khalid is currently working as a Senior Program Manager at Aitech Systems, where they are responsible for managing multiple programs, ensuring on-time execution, and budget management. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, where they were accountable for overall program performance and managing program risks.

From 2016 to 2020, Khalid worked at Collins Aerospace, initially as a Senior Program Manager and later as the Director of New Product Development & Sustaining Engineering. Khalid led a multidisciplinary engineering team and provided technical leadership in achieving critical goals for the organization. Additionally, they implemented strategies and plans to improve the site's key performance indicators at Zodiac Seats California & Zodiac Seats USA, where they served as the Director of Engineering.

Before that, Khalid held roles as a Senior Engineering Manager and Program Manager at Crane Aerospace, where they managed teams in design and development of new products, as well as systems engineering for complex systems. Khalid also worked as an Engineering Manager at Crane Aerospace, where they closely collaborated with the design engineering group and visited key customers to provide support and explore new business opportunities.

Khalid began their career at Raynard Aviation as a Project Development Engineer, where they played a crucial role in the development of the industry's first lie-flat premium class Airline seat. Khalid was responsible for the integration of electrical and electro-mechanical systems into aircraft seats and worked closely with the design engineering group to solve various design and development challenges.

Khalid Muhammad has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the NED University of Engineering and Technology, although it is unclear when they obtained this degree. Khalid also holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, but again, the specific dates of completion are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Khalid has obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial Engineers in March 2015.
