Aleksei Atavin

Aleksei Atavin has worked in the software engineering field since 2008. Aleksei began their career as a NOC Engineer at ELTEL in 2008. In 2011, they joined BCC Group as a Lead Engineer, where they worked on the introduction of a system of ready solutions for customers and implemented and supported Chef in the infrastructure of the department and customers. In 2015, they moved to AB Technology as a Senior Backend Developer, where they developed three projects from scratch, including BSAdverts, an application for ad insertion inside live television stream. In 2017, they joined EO Group as a Senior Backend/Blockchain Developer, where they developed a new backend system that provides unified interface for communicating with growing list of blockchains. In 2019, they joined Hyper5 as a Senior Python Backend, where they created a backend system that includes Rest API for mobile devices, video storage with transcoding, payments service, push-notifications, analytics service and a CRM. Currently, Aleksei Atavin is a Senior Software Engineer at Aiven since 2021.

Aleksei Atavin attended Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University from 2006 to 2014, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in System Administration in 2014 and an Инженер degree in Газовые и паровые турбинные двигатели и установки in 2012.
