Anton Agestam

Anton Agestam has over 10 years of work experience in software engineering, tech lead, software development, IT consulting, database administration, web development, CTO, and web development roles. In 2010, they began their career as a web developer for Define Sweden, where they worked with WordPress. From 2011 to 2012, they were a web developer for Tripl, where they worked with PHP and JavaScript. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a web developer for FundedByMe, where they developed product features, improved payments integrations, and optimized the stack. Anton then worked as CTO for myClosetRoom AB from 2014 to 2015, and as a web developer for 5 Monkeys from 2015 to 2017. During their time at 5 Monkeys, they were responsible for starting up the development of two new projects for a venture capital client. From 2017 to 2019, Anton worked as an IT consultant for ANNEVO and as a software developer for Kvdbil. Anton then worked as a tech lead for 5 Monkeys from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are a software engineer for Aiven.

Anton Agestam's education history includes attending Lars Kaggskolan from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Gymnasie in Teknik IT. From 1999 to 2008, they attended Vasaskolan. In 2014, they attended Chalmers University of Technology for a Technical Preparatory Year. Anton began an M.Sc. Industrial Design Engineering program at Chalmers University of Technology in 2015, but did not finish.
