Bridget Beh

Bridget Beh has held a number of positions in the tech industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Client Support Services Intern at Orion Health. In 2012, they were a Software Developer Intern at First NZ Capital. In 2013, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Google, a Teaching Assistant at The University of Auckland, and a Website Tester at Touchcast NZ. From 2014 to 2019, they held various roles at Serato, including Software Engineer and Software Engineering Team Lead. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Software Engineer II and Senior C++ Engineer at Soul Machines, where they improved language support for English, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese, integrated third party services, and reduced the cost of running sessions with a Digital Person. Bridget is currently a Site Reliability Engineer at Aiven, starting in 2022.

Bridget Beh obtained their BE(Hons)/BCom in Software Engineering and Accounting/Finance from The University of Auckland in 2013. Bridget also obtained their NCEA Level 3 and NZ Scholarship from St Mary's College, Auckland between 2002 and 2008. In addition, they have obtained three certifications from Coursera: Front-End Web Development with React in October 2022, Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools: Bootstrap 4 in April 2022, and Building Modern Node.js Applications on AWS in September 2021.
