Matteo Centenaro

Matteo Centenaro has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Matteo is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Aiven since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Relata from March 2016 to March 2023, where they contributed to the development, monitoring, and troubleshooting of back-end systems. Matteo also has experience as a Lead Developer at Pitchtarget from March 2014 to December 2019, and as a Ruby API Developer at FunGo Studios from March 2011 to February 2014. Matteo began their career as a PhD Student in Computer Science at Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia from January 2008 to April 2011, where they worked on Language-Based Information Flow Security and taught assistantship for various courses. Matteo also worked as a Software Developer at Demetra from February 2001 to January 2008, mainly focusing on the YaaCs open-source project.

Matteo Centenaro pursued their education in the field of Computer Science at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. Matteo obtained their Bachelor's degree from the same institution between the years 2000 to 2003. Matteo then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia from 2003 to 2007. Matteo further continued their academic journey and completed a PhD in Computer Science at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Matteo Centenaro also obtained a certification in Machine Learning. Matteo completed this certification through Coursera Course Certificates in May 2016.
