Simone Greene has worked in various roles since 2012. Simone began their career as a Jameson Brand Ambassador for Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard in 2012, where they worked on marketing the brand in Italy. In 2015, they moved to Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board, where they worked as a Marketing Executive in Milan, overseeing the Italian, Swiss, Maltese, Cypriot and Greek markets. In 2017, they worked as a Site Coordinator for Atlantis Project, managing a group of 18 American university students and improving their organisational, communication and budgeting skills. Later that same year, they joined Wärtsilä as a Communications Manager, working as part of the external communications team to promote sustainability in the shipping sector and help customers decarbonise their fleet. In this role, they were responsible for Social Media, Advertising and PR activities for Wärtsilä Marine Power, as well as helping their team create and develop external messaging and positioning. Simone then moved to a Strategic Purchaser role at Wärtsilä, where they used their knowledge to negotiate price lists, navigate difficult quality issues, expand and improve supplier lists, optimise supply chains and meet customers needs. In 2022, they began working as a Marketing Content Producer for Aiven.

Simone Greene holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in European Studies from Trinity College Dublin, which they obtained in 2012. Simone then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Conference Interpretation from the University of Galway, which they obtained in 2014. In 2015-2016, Simone attended Technological University Dublin, studying International Business Development. Simone also participated in the Erasmus programme at Universidad de Salamanca in 2010-2011. Additionally, Simone has obtained seven certifications from LinkedIn in the fields of Advertising on Facebook, SEO, Social Media Monitoring, Branding, Creating a Personal Brand, Growth Hacking, and Copywriting for Social Media, all obtained in February and January 2022.
