Wade W.

Wade W. has over 20 years of work experience in the security field. Wade began their career at Coldwater Creek in 2000 as a Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for training engineering staff on usage and securing of Linux systems in a heterogeneous environment. In 2002, they moved to Digeo, Inc. as a Sr. Systems Engineer. Wade then joined Infospace in 2004 as an Information Security Engineer, where they performed vulnerability testing and enterprise risk assessments of all new applications and systems prior to launch and was a lead member of the Vulnerability Management Team. In 2008, Wade moved to Motricity as an Information Security Engineer, then to IOActive as a Security Consultant specializing in application, network, and physical security testing. Wade then joined Zynga in 2010 as a Senior Manager, Application Security, where they managed two teams responsible for architecture reviews, threat models of new platforms, application reviews, penetration testing, game exploits and intelligence, and tooling development. In 2013, Wade moved to Microsoft as a Security Manager for the Windows NEXT organisation, where they provided security guidance and direction and worked with agile development techniques. In 2018, they joined Heroku as a Director, Platform Security. In 2020, they moved to Salesforce as a Director, Platform as a Service Security Assurance. Most recently, in 2022, Wade joined Aiven as the Global Senior Director, Security Operations.

Wade W. attended Austin Community College from 1994 to 1996 and Lubbock High School from 1986 to 1989.
