The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) leads AIVET, an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project (2023-1-ES01-KA220-VET-000153882) with five partners and five associated partners across Europe. Together, we are developing AI tools to provide actionable intelligence on local labour markets for Vocational Education and Training (VET) graduates.

Our consortium includes the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Council of the Catalan Chambers of Commerce, the Free University of Brussels, and the University of Vienna. Our associated partners are Barcelona Activa, Education-Sofia, Molengeek (Brussels), Open Society Foundation-Sofia, and Statistik Austria.

From 2023 to 2026, AIVET will pilot an AI-powered tool in Barcelona, Sofia, and Vienna to support local decision-makers in VET by providing skill-based labour market intelligence. The project integrates interviews with graduates, focus groups with employers, and participatory workshops to triangulate data and inform outcomes.

By combining advanced AI analysis with the expertise of statistics institutes and VET providers, AIVET aims to shape the future of skills intelligence and labour market decision-making in Europe.
