Levin Jian

Levin Jian possesses extensive experience in software engineering and system development, specializing in imaging and machine learning applications. Currently serving as a SLAM engineer at AIWAYS since September 2018, Levin Jian focuses on visual semantic SLAM systems for Automated Valet Parking, utilizing surround view cameras and other sensors to enhance mapping and localization capabilities. Prior to this role, Levin Jian worked as a Software Engineer at Glory Global Solutions, developing banknote recognition algorithms and maintaining counterfeit detection systems. At Diebold, leadership roles included Team Lead and Project Lead, overseeing the development of software solutions for ATMs. Earlier experience includes developing VOIP solutions at AltiGen Communications and software for ticket checking machines at Huaming Intelligent Device. Levin Jian holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Nanchang University, along with multiple nanodegree certifications in machine learning from Udacity.
