Abdul Basit Anees

Abdul Basit Anees is an experienced Machine Learning Research Engineer with a robust background in developing advanced AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and natural language processing applications. At aiXplain, significant contributions involved leading the development of RAG backend components and integrating specialized microservices for knowledge-graph-based retrieval. Previous roles include AI Fellow at KUIS AI, collaboration with Adobe Research on multimodal generative learning, and various internships focusing on machine learning applications in fields such as object detection and forex data analysis. Abdul Basit holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Koç University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University.
