Qamar Aftab

Qamar Aftab, CFA, is currently the Investment Director at Wa’ed Ventures, where they lead a team in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities across various sectors, including fintech and space technology. With over a decade of experience in venture capital and private equity, they previously served as the Director of Corporate Finance at Red Sea Farms, successfully raising $35 million. Qamar has also held positions at Al Bidda Group and Karandaaz Pakistan, contributing to numerous high-value transactions globally. They completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Accounting at Oxford Brookes University and are pursuing an MBA in Finance at the University of London. As a CFA Charterholder, Qamar achieved all levels of the CFA exam by age 24.
