Yves L.

Yves L. has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they became the Chief Business Officer at aiXplain, inc., a startup specializing in applied AI. Yves is also an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council since 2016 and a Senior Executive Fellow at the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy since 2017. From 2010 to 2018, they were an Adjunct Research Professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering, and a frequent keynote speaker at international scientific and industrial conferences. Yves was also the Managing Director EMEA and International Expansion at Element AI from 2018 to 2021, and the Global Head of Manufacturing for the Industry Solutions, Strategy & Corporate Development Team at Element AI. From 2001 to 2009, they were the CEO of Siradel and the CTO & VP Product Management of the Wireless Expertise and Research Centre in Toronto, Canada. Additionally, they were a Lecturer at INSA Rennes and CentraleSupelec from 2001 to 2009.

Yves L. has a long and varied educational history. Yves obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the MIT Sloan School of Management between 2011 and 2013, with a focus on General Management, Strategy, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Yves also received an Executive Certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009-2010 in Strategy & Innovation. Yves was awarded a D.Sc. (Habilitation, HDR) from Université de Rennes I in 2009 in Electronics - Physics. Yves received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from UCL in Electrical Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from INSA Rennes in 2000 in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Yves was also awarded a Master of Science (MSc) from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 1996 in Diplomarbeit in Nachrichtentechnik and a Master of Engineering - MEng from INSA Rennes in 1996 in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
