Ben Conran

Ben Conran is a Research & Development Engineer at AIXTRON SE since December 2010, specializing in the development of 2D material growth using MOCVD technology. Conran's work involves scaling processes from 2-inch to 12-inch wafer sizes for the deposition of materials such as graphene, WS2, MoS2, and hBN. Prior to this role, Conran held positions in senior research and development, focusing on similar growth processes and system improvements, as well as maintenance and fault finding for MOCVD reactors. Earlier experience includes a role as a Test Engineer at Eurotech Ltd, where Conran tested embedded industrial computer systems and ensured timely customer order fulfillment.
