Electro-mechanical Design Engineer at Aixtron

Steve Medlen has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Steve started their career in 1980 with the Royal Air Force as an Electronics Technician focused on air defense. After leaving the RAF in 1994, they joined the Institute of Astronomy at Cambridge University as the Chief Electronics Workshop Technician, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, Steve worked simultaneously as an Electrical Technician for Mosler UK/Rollcentre Racing and as an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer for Anteon - General Dynamics UK Ltd. Steve'sresponsibilities at Anteon included designing and supporting surveillance system infrastructure, inspecting and certifying electrical installations, and developing and delivering training courses. From 2011, Steve joined Aixtron Ltd as an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer with a focus on MOCVD.
