Steph Smith, CFA, is currently the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at AJ Bell, a role they have held since 2025. Previously, Steph served as the Head of Financial Planning and Economics at The Co-operative Bank plc from 2020 to 2025 and worked as an Economics Analyst at the same institution from 2017 to 2019. They began their career in finance as a Finance Intern with the Lake District National Park Authority in 2014 and also gained experience as a Store Assistant at Homebase while studying. Steph holds a First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Lancaster University and is a CIMA qualified accountant with a CFA charter.
