Abid Umer

Abid Umer is the Founder of MEME Retail, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they were the Founder CEO of AK Marketing, where they were responsible for launching various international brands in Pakistan. Abid also played a key role in creating and launching alkaram studio across Pakistan. In 2018, they became the Founder CEO of AK GALLERIA, a premium marketplace. Before that, they held the position of Director at Amna Industries (Pvt) Ltd. and Al-Karam Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd. from 2019 to 2020 and 1996 to 2019, respectively.

Abid Umer earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from UMass Boston, which they completed from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended Boston University from 1991 to 1994, but no degree or field of study information is available for that period.
