Grant Messick is the current Vice President of Customer Success at Akasa. Grant has over 9 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on revenue cycle management.

Grant founded Atlas Revenue Cycle Consulting in March 2019 and served as its Principal until July 2020. During their time at Atlas, Grant helped clients implement best practices in revenue cycle management and achieve significantly improved outcomes.

Prior to Atlas, Grant worked as a Partner at The Chartis Group from April 2018 to March 2019. At The Chartis Group, Grant served as a trusted advisor to hospital leadership, driving industry best practices across the organization.

Before The Chartis Group, Grant worked as a Partner at The Advisory Board Company from January 2015 to April 2018. During their time at The Advisory Board Company, Grant was responsible for leading projects that generated millions in savings for clients. Grant was also recognized company-wide multiple times for their exceptional performance.

Grant began their career in healthcare at Cerner Corporation in November 2011, where they worked as a Revenue Cycle Executive for over 3 years. During their time at Cerner, Grant was instrumental in developing the first Acute-focused clients and Cerner associates in the RevWorks EBO outsourcing model. Grant was also recognized company-wide multiple times for their exceptional performance, including being named a "Cerner Master" and "Accelerate Leadership Academy" member.

Grant Messick has a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from the University of Virginia.

Grant Messick reports to Malinka Walaliyadde, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Jo Maxion - Sr. Director, Talent, Ryan Roland - Chief Financial Officer, and Varun Ganapathi - Co-Founder & CTO.
