Cherry Jacob

Cherry Jacob has over 20 years of experience in the agribusiness sector, currently serving as General Manager at Akay Natural Ingredients Pvt Ltd since April 2016. Prior to this role, Cherry held the position of AVP at Rabobank from November 2006 to April 2016, focusing on research and strategic advisory in the Food and Agribusiness Research division. Earlier career experience includes serving as Assistant Manager at ICICI Bank (2005-2006), where research on agro-horticultural sectors supported strategic decision-making, and as Quality Manager at INDOCERT (2002-2005), overseeing inspections and quality management functions. Cherry holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Management from Wageningen University & Research, earned between 2000 and 2002.
