Hina Junaid

Mrs. Hina Junaid is the eldest daughter of the AKD Group Chairman and currently serves as Chairperson AKD Securities Limited since being elected in 2007. Mrs. Junaid has been part of the family business at an early age in various facets and is accredited with the establishment and launch of AKD Commodities (Pvt.) Limited in 2011 where she currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board and AKD Analytics (formerly Bright Securities) which provides professional end-to-end financial services to clients in the MENA region and GCC in particular.

At AKD Securities Limited, Mrs. Junaid retains oversight of the company's brokerage division where her extensive network is levered to ensure AKD Securities Limited provides the best execution for large block trades with the tightest pricing.

Prior to becoming Chairperson of AKD Securities, Hina gained extensive experience working in the fields of client/portfolio management, equity sales and business development focusing on an extensive client base including domestic institutions and High Net Worth Individuals.

Hina has developed a reputation as a shrewd investor, identifying key inflection points in specific stocks and sectors as well as the broader market. She brings with her a rich contact network base which underpins the continued success of AKD Securities Limited as one of the leading Brokerage Houses of Pakistan.

Mrs. Junaid also serves as a Director AKD Venture Fund Ltd. (Pakistan's First Venture Capital Fund), Creek Developers (Pvt.) Ltd. (in the process of launching one of Pakistan's largest residential and commercial real estate projects) and Oil & Gas Investments Limited (OGIL) which has exploration and development acreage across Pakistan.

Mrs. Junaid is also an active philanthropist and undertakes various charitable causes and social welfare projects for women empowerment, children education, medical research and poverty alleviation across Pakistan. She is actively involved with various institutions and foundations which include: HANDS, WWF, SIUT and ORANGE TREE.
