Ciaran O'Keeffe

Ciaran O'Keeffe has held a variety of positions in the security and technology industry since 2007. Ciaran began their career as a Police Officer for An Garda Síochána from 2007 to 2014. In 2014, they became a Senior Consultant for Cybersecurity Advisory Services at EY. In 2016, they were a Senior Information Security Consultant for CrossCountry Consulting and a Security & IT Architecture Consultant for Bank of Ireland. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Global Lead - Security Architecture and Operations at Logitech. Most recently, in 2020, they became the CEO & Co-founder of Akeero.

Ciaran O'Keeffe has a diverse education history. Ciaran obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems from the Cork Institute of Technology, a CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting (Cert BA) from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Limerick. Ciaran also holds a Leaving Certificate from Colaiste Muire, Cobh, Cork, obtained in 2004.
