David Baskin

David Baskin is the Chief Financial Officer at Akela, LLC since September 2025 and serves on the Board of Directors and the Member Services committee of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) since September 2014. David has extensive experience in financial management, having held various positions at Guidehouse from July 2018 to September 2025, including Director, Associate Director, and Manager, focusing on financial services for the U.S. government. Prior roles at PwC from August 2012 to July 2018 involved managing financial activities for federal government agencies and conducting audits related to the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). David began his career with internships at PricewaterhouseCoopers and QinetiQ North America, gaining valuable insights into accounting and auditing practices. David holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University at Buffalo and the State University of New York at Buffalo, respectively.
