Chuck Hardy

Chuck Hardy currently serves as the Director of Software Engineering at Akeneo, starting in November 2023. Prior to this role, Chuck was the Head of Engineering at Salesroom, where oversight included Engineering and Product Design. Chuck has extensive experience in technology leadership, having held the position of Vice President of Technology at General Assembly, managing multiple teams across Software Engineering, IT, and InfoSec. Chuck has also served in various roles at General Assembly, including Director of Software Engineering and Engineering Manager, focusing on infrastructure, DevOps, and business operations. Previous experience includes senior development positions at Leadformance and On the Beach Ltd, as well as founding the MagRails Conference in 2011. Chuck's early career included service in the British Army, where responsibilities included roles such as Sergeant and Aviation Crewman.
