Frode Efteland

Frode Efteland is a seasoned professional in Data Governance, Data Architecture, and Data Modelling, currently serving as a Senior Data Governance Specialist at Aker BP ASA since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Software Manager at Canrig Robotics, where Frode managed the development of cooperative robots for heavy industry, and Manager of Control Systems at Robotic Drilling Systems, leading the advancement of control systems for oilfield robots. Frode's extensive background at National Oilwell Varco spans various managerial and engineering roles focused on control systems and drilling efficiency. Earlier career steps include positions at Hitec AS and ABB Robotics Norway, where Frode gained foundational experience in automation and robotics. Frode holds a Master’s degree in Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Cybernetics from Oslo and Akershus University College, complemented by business education from Texas McCombs School of Business.
