Aker Property Group AS (APG) is Aker ASA’s real estate development company. We specialize in the development and management of commercial property, including retail, office, hotel and industrial properties, as well as residential property. 

Aker is Norway’s largest publicly-listed investment company and has roots dating back to 1841. Aker has been active in real estate since 1981 and developed some of Norway’s most popular office, residential and retail areas like Aker Brygge and Nydalen, as well as major real estate projects in the United States, which were later divested. 

In 2012 Aker established a dedicated real estate company, FP Eiendom (short for Fornebuporten Eiendom), to develop two premier business parks at Fornebuporten outside of Oslo and at Dyce in Aberdeen. These business parks currently host over 4,000 highly skilled professionals within the oil and gas, renewables, nutraceutical, construction and technology industries.

In 2020, FP Eiendom changed its name to Aker Property Group to reflect its affiliation with the Aker group and the company’s diversification into new geographical areas and business segments. Today our portfolio of assets spans across Norway and Aberdeen, Scotland.
