Asma Lata currently serves as the Country Head and Vice President of People and Transformation at Aker Solutions, overseeing HR strategy and implementation for India since June 2015. Prior experience includes various human resources roles at The Dow Chemical Company from January 2007 to May 2015, where Asma focused on HR operations, talent acquisition, and compliance during capacity expansions and mergers. Previous positions also include HR Manager at GlobeOp Financial Services and Assistant Manager of Human Resources at Rave Technologies. Asma holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, a Bachelor of Laws from Government Law College, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mithibai College. Additionally, Asma obtained a Coaching Certification from the NeuroLeadership Institute India & SouthAsia.
