Gary Pilcher

Principal Architectural Designer at Aker Solutions

Gary Pilcher has extensive work experience in the field of architectural design. Gary started their career in 1996 at Jacobs Engineering, where they worked on various projects such as large-scale manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical plants, and biomedical facilities. Gary then joined SLP Energy in 2009, where they were involved in the detail design of living quarters in the North Sea. After that, Gary worked at Jacobs again, where they focused on power and water projects in Saudi Arabia and conceptual studies for production facilities in the UK. Gary then worked at CB&I, contributing to the design of LNG and condensate storage facilities in Russia. In 2011, they joined WorleyParsons as a senior architectural PDMS designer. Before joining their current position as Principal Architectural Designer at Aker Solutions in 2021, Gary worked as a Senior Architectural Designer at McDermott International. Their role at Aker Solutions involves leading the architectural design and coordination of various projects.

Gary Pilcher has an education history in Building Studies. Gary obtained a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Building Studies from The College of North East London. Gary also obtained an Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in Building Studies from Vauxhall College of Higher Education. In addition, they have certifications in ISO27001, including being certified as an ISMS Foundation (CIS F) and an ISMS Lead Implementer from IBITGQ, both obtained in 2018.
