Igor Iliev

Igor Iliev is a Specialist Engineer at Aker Solutions, focused on hydropower, hydraulic turbo-machinery, and fluid mechanics. Prior to this role, they were a Research Scientist at SINTEF Energy Research and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they led a work package in the EU-Horizon2020 project HydroFlex. Igor earned a PhD in Hydraulic Turbomachinery from NTNU, following a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Hydropower Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, respectively, from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Their research interests include renewable energy and computational fluid dynamics.
