Kevin Porter

Kevin Porter has a strong background in project management and has worked for various companies in the oil and gas industry. Kevin currently works as a Project Lead at Aker Solutions, where they are responsible for executing and coordinating projects on the Azule Angola project. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at Stork, a Fluor company, where they oversaw the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance activities on the Apache North Sea contract. Before that, Kevin served as a Project Manager at Cape plc, where they facilitated safety and operational requirements on the BP Federal Maintenance Contract. Kevin began their career as a Project Engineer/Manager at STORK, where they executed projects on various platforms and supported the management of contract KPIs.

Kevin Porter obtained a Bachelor's degree in Spatial Planning from the University of Aberdeen, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. In 2012, they earned the APMP qualification from APM (Association for Project Management), and in 2014, they became a NACE Certified Coating Inspector - Level 1 through NACE International - The Coatings Society. Additionally, in 2019, they completed the Nebosh National General Certificate 1,2,3 from NEBOSH. Kevin recently completed a short course on the regulatory aspects of decommissioning offshore installations at the University of Aberdeen in 2020.
